Ban firepits

Letter to the Editor
Why are firepits allowed in the city?
How many people are sitting with the windows closed because of the stink of someone's firepit? How hot is it for most of them?
Isn't a health decision more important than entertainment? Bike helmets, seatbelts, no smoking in public are among many restrictions in place for our health. Why not include firepits?
It's 17 degrees outside and I'm sitting here with the air conditioner on to cool off, instead of using the free, nonpolluting cool breeze.
