Not Ready to Make Nice! Not Ready to Back Down!

Not Ready to Make Nice! Not Ready to Back Down!

Empowering words from the song by the Dixie Chicks, Not Ready To Make Nice!

The Victims of Residential Woodsmoke pollution are not ready to make nice. We are not ready to back down from fighting for our right to breathe healthy-air, Woodsmoke-free!!

We are not ready to back down when our children and families are hurting, suffering, and dying from Woodsmoke. We will not make nice with our community leaders who do not take immediate action to help our body and soul from being exposed to the deadly toxins in Woodsmoke emissions.

We are sad. In pain. Many of us have cancer, COPD, asthma, heart and lung disease. We are real people with real hearts and real names and families…suffering souls. We are innocent Victims in a Nation that has turned its back on us!!!

This is a disgrace when one hand of our political system boasts about Banning Tobacco in our schools, work places and other venues to save lives and yet………they let us sit in our homes surrounded by deadly toxic Woodsmoke Pollution. Hypocritical, yes, it is.

Yes, we are mad as hell. We are not ready to back down until we make it known to all our elected officials throughout Canada that we will no longer remain silent about the Woodsmoke that is doing such grave harm to our life and health. We won’t back down. We will not be silenced! Not for government, or industry or anyone who does respect the decency of others right to breathe healthy air—Woodsmoke-free.

We are ready to name those who are responsible for our suffering. Join with us to add the name of those in your community who did nothing to help you while you were suffering.

I will begin with my community leaders: Mayor Bob Kilger: Did nothing to stop Woodsmoke Pollution. Fire Chief Myles Cassidy : did nothing to Ban outdoor open air burning. He allowed it to continue. Most Cornwall, Ontario city council members did Nothing. Council member Glen Grant did make an attempt to assist. Thank you Glen!! You tried at least!

Mr. Jim Brownell, Member of Provincial Parliament, thank you for your support. Your compassion and your belief that Outdoor open air burning could be banned and become a Province wide Ban like Tobacco Bans, offered us HOPE! You inspired us with your humanity for others and your immediate pro-action action regarding this toxic deadly issue we live with. We will be forever grateful for all you did to support the Air Is Precious Coalition.

Mr. Guy Lauzon, Member of Parliament, you joined the ranks of those who did nothing! You promised to offer “moral support” and even that was lacking and never received.

Now is time for all Canadians to place their names on a petition to offer to our Government. Fight for your life!!! Add your names….Your life depends on breathing healthy air—air that is Woodsmoke-free!! Join the millions in Canada who are….Not Ready to Make Nice! Not Ready to Back Down…until Woodsmoke is ended in Canada.

Webmaster: Elected officials seem to not "get it" yet. All Woodsmoke is noxious, harmful, and deadly to all who breathe it. Woodsmoke needs to be prohibited. The above author is echoing what Howard Cosell, a renowned American sports journalist always use to say......"I'm just telling it like it is".

The truth will always win in this quest to ban woodsmoke pollution. Remember, woodsmoke, as stated in a previous post, Thursday, October 27, 2011, is "ENVIRONMENTAL TERRORISM". It is time to end it...now!
